Charlotte Palmer
When I started yoga at the age of 22 I could not touch my toes, my natural balance of strength and flexibility already gone, but it is never too late! Now 15 years later, I would not be without my practice to ward off aches and pains.
Initially I did not start yoga to gain flexibility, I began because it was a stressful time in my life. It is still my greatest joy that through regular practice, yoga gently brings me to a place where I feel centred and at ease on all levels.
Over the years I have been privileged to attend workshops lead by Iyengar teachers from around the world and these have been invaluable, to learn as a student and share as a teacher. There is always something new to experience and discover!
I currently hold the Iyengar Introductory and Junior Intermediate 1 Teaching certificates.
I teach at David Lloyd Brighton (members only) and I also hold some private classes.

Jen Henwood
| I have been practising Iyengar Yoga for over 20 years.
I have found yoga to be hugely beneficial, physically, mentally, emotionally
and spiritually.
I undertook my teacher training at the Iyengar Yoga Institute in Maida Vale, London, from 2003 to 2005. The training course enabled me to develop and deepen my understanding of the vast subject of yoga. I qualified to teach in October 2005. I continue to learn, through my own practice and by attending weekly classes, workshops and conventions with senior teachers. |
|
In my classes, I aim to provide a supportive and friendly environment,
in which students work according to their own ability, in order to realise
their full potential.
I find teaching Iyengar Yoga immensely rewarding and enjoyable.
